Melissa BeldenAdams County authorities reportedly find a fugitive hiding out at a local campground, making meth.
Rodney Belden, 44, was arrested late Monday night at the Whispering Oaks Campground near Mendon.
The West Central Illinois Task Force says they found a shake and bake meth lab in his camper.
Belden was already wanted on meth charges.
Authorities say less than a month ago, they found another shake and bake meth lab in his Quincy home at 623 Oak Street.
His wife, Melissa, was also arrested in that case.
Adams County court records indicate that Rodney Belden had two methamphetamine cases in 2005. He received a sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections of three years on one case and six months on the second. Rodney Beldon was arrested again in 2008 for Methamphetamine Manufacture and pled to Unlawful Possession of Meth. He was given 30 months of Intensive Probation-Drug Court on the 2008 case.
