A Timewell woman has died following an accident on US 24 Tuesday afternoon involving two vehicles.

The accident happened just east of Paloma around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Adams County Coroner's Office says 63-year-old Connie Cook died at Blessing Hospital early Wednesday morning.

Deputies say Cook was driving east on 24 and lost control on the snowy roadway. The vehicle began spinning, then crossed the center line.  It was hit by a westbound pickup.
