MoDOT to temporarily close lanes on US 61 through Hannibal this weekend

HANNIBAL, Mo. (WGEM) -

Expect some delays on U.S. 61 through Hannibal this weekend.

Weather permitting on Sunday, crews will be temporarily stopping traffic to install a fiber optic cable.

Lanes will be shut down periodically just south of Warren Barrett Drive near Selby Implement.

MoDOT says to expect delays of 10-15 minutes between 10-11:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Message boards will be set up to alert drivers.
