There's new progress in the efforts to replace the aging Champ Clark Bridge in Louisiana, Missouri.
MoDOT will host on open-house style meeting at the Twin Pikes YMCA on Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. to view the various alternative locations for the bridge.
Officials have narrowed down the list to eight location options and are looking for the public's input.
Although there is no funding for any changes right now, officials say the planning process could take up to three years.
MoDOT has created the http://www.champclarkbridge.com website for people to follow along and answer questions throughout the process.
