A St. Patrick's Day tradition that has lasted for more than 100 years continues today in Quincy. Dozens came out to the St. Rose Church annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner earlier today. In addition to live music, people were able to enjoy Irish foods like Corn Beef and mashed potatoes. Member Paul Geers said for the Church this is more than just a typical holiday.
"But we go back to our secondary patron St. Patrick and since it was founded by the Irish here, it's more of a legend to keep this going," Geers said.
Geers said this fundraiser raises thousands of dollars for the church.
