One motorcycle club member convicted in Quincy armed robbery


One of four motorcycle club members charged in an armed robbery in Quincy last year has been found guilty.

Joseph Teel, Jr., 39, of Barry, faces up to 30 years in prison after a jury convicted him of several robbery charges.

He's scheduled to be sentenced May 29.

Last May, Quincy police said four men robbed two motorcycle riders at gunpoint near 12th and Hampshire. 

They were later arrested at their Midwest Percenters clubhouse in Liberty. (Read: "Police issue search warrant and find firearms in biker club house" )

Timothy Jackson, Zane Liggett and Gerald Utterback are all facing jury trials.
