After months of speculation, Quincy's Blockbuster Video store is closing its doors on May 11.
The store is currently undergoing a liquidation sale. Nearly everything is for sale, including movies, televisions and even the shelves.
Blockbuster has faced stiff competition from businesses like Netflix and Redbox, entering bankruptcy in 2010. The company was sold to Dish Network in 2011. Blockbuster only has about 500 surviving stores, down from nearly 9,000 in 2004.
Quincy's store currently employs five people. The Blockbuster Video store in Hannibal closed in April 2012.
