"Midwest River Country" brochure looks to help boost tourism in Tri-States

Looking for something to do with the kids over spring break?

The new "Midwest River Country" brochure may have the answer for you, without even leaving the Tri-States.
The Tri-State Tourism Task Force has finished putting together the brochure with help from local tourism bureaus. The brochure will be available all across the Tri-States for both area locals and visitors to find fun activities.
Tourism Task Force committee member Megan Backs said the goal is to boost local tourism.

"It is essentially a brochure to promote the tri-state area as a tourism destination, and also to give some ideas for folks locally who are looking for some places to vacation and stay closer to home," said Backs.

"We feel like it's an opportunity to increase our tourism tax dollars. Have visitors spend more time in each of those communities and essentially bring in more revenue," she added.

You can find copies of the brochure in visitors centers, or download a copy from http://www.tristateofmind.org/.
