Quincy woman pleads guilty to aggravated battery of infant son

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy woman pleads guilty to aggravated battery of her infant son.

Another charge of aggravated battery was dropped against 23-year-old Jessica Meredith.

Meredith's 6-week-old infant was brought to the Blessing Hospital in December 2011 with head trauma.

The baby was later flown by Air Evac to St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

Sentencing is set for April 30.
