Hannibal County Market getting $2M facelift, new jobs

Hannibal's County Market is getting a $2 million facelift and adding 10 new jobs.

County Market executives announced plans Thursday to remodel the Hannibal grocery store both inside and out.

"The whole store, virtually all the equipment will be changed out and the look of the store will be completely different," Rich Niemann, President/CEO of Niemann Foods, said. "And we're going to remain open during the whole thing. It will be a very extensive remodel."

Work is expected to begin later this spring and be complete by the fall.
