Runners raise money for Special Olympics at WIU Color Craze 5K

MACOMB, Ill. (WGEM) -

Students and runners gathered Saturday morning at Western Illinois University for the WIU Color Craze 5K to raise money for the Special Olympics.

The focus of the event was not on speed but fun. At each kilometer, runners were colored in colors at the "color stations."

All registered participants go a Color Craze 5K t-shirt, a packet of color and entrance to the Color Craze Dance Party following the event.
