MoDOT to begin resurfacing 12 miles of Highway 61 on Monday

NEW LONDON, Mo. (WGEM) -

Starting Monday, MoDOT crews will begin resurfacing 12 miles of Highway 61 in Northeast Missouri.

The project will repair pavement from MO 19 at New London to just south of Route UU near Bowling Green.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 55 mile per hour speed limit through the work zone.

Work is expected to take two months to complete.
