Some kids got a jump start on Easter this year at HyVee's annual Easter Egg hunt Saturday.
Kids searched for Easter eggs, as well as treats on their hunt. They also colored Easter pictures and played in a bounce house.
Organizers say the event is a tradition around Easter in the area.
"They come and bring their kids and we've been doing it long enough where some of the kids are grown up and have their own kids so it's kind of a history of them coming remembering childhood memories," said Jon Marshall, HyVee manager of store operations.
