Many people in the tri-states will taking their children to Easter Mass and one local organization wants to make sure the kids are dressed in their Sunday best.
The Salvation Army in Quincy hosted its annual "Dress An Angel" event Saturday. The event provided a new set of clothing for 400 children to wear on Easter, something organizers say makes kids feel special.
"There's a lot of children in our city who can't get those new clothing like the rest of their friends are getting new Easter outfits and so we want to make sure they can also get a new Easter outfit," said Cheryl Miller of the Salvation Army.
All of the clothes were new and collected by the Salvation Army's Women's Auxiliary by fundraising all year.
