Quincy woman arrested for drug charges


A Quincy woman is behind bars on drug charges.

According to the Quincy Police Department, Lindsey Barton was arrested Sunday evening for Manufacture and Delivery of Cannabis, after being found with over 10 grams of cannabis, as well as items commonly used to sell the drug.

Neighbors called the cops to report suspicious activity in the 1700 block of Harrison Street. Officers arrived on scene to find two vehicles in the gas station parking lot. The Police K9 alerted officers to the presence of the narcotics inside the vehicle.

A 17-year old male from Quincy was issued ordinance violation tickets and was released on bond.

Barton is currently lodged in the Adams County Jail.
