A Keokuk pawn shop has been ordered to shut down after it's owner pleaded guilty to felony charges.
According to court records, Big River Pawn Shop owner Brian Boyd was ordered to close the business by May 15 as part of a plea agreement.
Boyd pleaded guilty a drug tax stamp violation and was convicted of possession of a firearm by a felon.
He was also ordered to pay more than $3,000 in fines and given five years probation.
Charges of money laundering were dropped.
