Kids in Hannibal scrambled to collected as many Easter eggs as they could before they were all gone.
It was all part of Hannibal's Early Bird Kiwanis' annual egg hunt Saturday morning.
Kids ranging from toddlers to age 9 quickly collected as many of the 8,000 eggs they could get their hands on.
Organizers say people in the community love the event.
"It's fun to watch the kids go through and pick up the eggs and see their faces when they get the prizes. Everybody who comes through the door is happy and is excited about the day, so it's been a lot of fun over the years," said Kevin White, Vice-President of Hannibal's Early Bird Kiwanis.
Before the kids raced to grab eggs, there was a prize raffle, plus each child received an Easter basket.
