From March 25 - March 31
Mason Fairley (QHS) -- Whether it was on the mound or in the batter's box, Fairley was stellar for the Blue Devils. Against North Boone, he struck out 10, including the final three batters to end the game, and allowed only three hits. A night prior versus ROWVA he collected three hits and scored two runs.
Rachel Motley (Western) -- Some may believe it's tough to have a perfect game this early in the season, yet Motley got as close as possible against Brussels. She struck out 11 batters and fired a no-hitter on Saturday while collecting a single, triple, and home run in her three at-bats, piling up five RBIs.
Madison Schuster (Illini West) -- Adding offense all day long, it was the pitcher's Game 2 performance against Liberty on the mound that stood out on Saturday. The senior struck out 13 batters and allowed only one hit to remain perfect on the year. She also picked up an RBI in the game.
Teresa Sheffer (Hannibal) -- Moberly had been ruling the NCMC seemingly for years, or at least that was until Sheffer put the Lady Pirates up 1-0 with an unassisted goal late in the first half and held on for the win on Thursday to end a 48-game conference win streak.
Alyson Tappe (QND) -- A bases-clearing shot on Thursday was the designated hitter just continuing her hot streak to start the season. Her 3 for 4 performance against Liberty was enough for QND to improve to 2-1 on the year.
