Hundreds of people came out to honor six women at the 22-ND Annual YWCA of Quincy Women of Achievement Gala at the Oakley-Lindsay Center.
Jeri Conboy, Nikki Finney, Liza Hayashi, Gretchen McDonald, Rhonda Murry and Amanda Bingheim were recognized for their positive difference in their community.
In addition to the honoree ceremony, the YWCA presented "A Voice for all Women," based on the popular NBC program "The Voice".
"Last year we did have some entertainment during our awards. We had some dancers and it went over very well. And we thought let's just step it up a notice and "The Voice" sounded like something fun to do," said board member Tina Garkie.
And what's a singing competition without judges?
WGEM's own Rich Cain and Natalie Will were two out of the three celebrity judges.
Josh Houchins was the emcee.
