Dozens of runners and walkers raise money with their feet

Dozens of runners and walkers were out Saturday morning raising money with their feet in Quincy.

Crowds of people participated in Prince Agri Products' third annual "Partnering For A Better Community" 5K Run/Walk at the Quincy Mall.

The money raised at Saturday's 5K went to the United Way and organizers say it was a great way for people to help out people in their community.

"There's just always great causes that everyone needs to pitch in the community and this is just one of many great things for the United Way which everyone knows is a great organization. It does a lot of good for a lot of people," said organizer Michael Jenkins of the Quincy Mall.

Organizers say the 5K is one of the events Prince Agri Products holds throughout the year to show it's commitment to Adams County and the United Way.
