QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Hundreds of local high schoolers showed off their musical and theatrical talents this weekend in the "New Faces" performance at Quincy High School.

The acts included skits, singing groups of all genres, and a variety of musical instruments. Performers say they love bringing their love of the arts to the audience.

"I really enjoy doing this because I love performing and I love showing other people what joy it is to be a performer and sharing that with others," said Olivia Ernst a senior.

The "New Faces" performances have been a QHS tradition for over fifty years. The theme of this year's show was "Out of Darkness".
