Quincy man sentenced to five years in prison for firing gun

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man is sentenced to five years in prison for firing a gun near an apartment complex.

Caleb Dickerson, 23, pleaded guilty to reckless discharge of a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

Dickerson was arrested in February after shooting a gun several times outside an apartment building at 1120 Lind Street.

No one got hurt.

Police reported Dickerson had stolen a pick-up and took the handgun from the vehicle.
