Two suspects federally indicted in Shelby Co. bank robbery

SHELBY COUNTY, Mo. (WGEM) -

Two people accused of robbing a Northeast Missouri bank have been federally indicted.

Cody Barber, 26, of Centerville, Iowa and Savannah Barger, 26, of Atlanta, Missouri are charged with bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery.

Barber was also indicted on a weapons charge.

The Community State Bank in Clarence was robbed at gunpoint on Jan. 17.

Police caught Barber along a Shelby County road after a tip was called in.

Barger was arrested in Macon County a few hours later.
