(WGEM) -- With Illinois getting closer to its court-ordered concealed carry legislation deadline, advocates for gun safety gathered at the State Capitol Thursday.
Gov. Pat Quinn joined the rally calling for lawmakers to listen to what Illinoisans have to say.
Only a concealed carry law is due in June, but Quinn says that is not enough.
Those in favor of gun reform want background checks on all gun sales, mandatory reporting of lost or stolen guns, and a limit on magazine capacity.
