Quincy woman arrested on drug charges; infant found in home

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Authorities say a Quincy woman is now facing drug charges after a search warrant Tuesday night on the 400 block of S. 5th Street found her in possession of illegal drugs.

The West Central Illinois Task Force has reported the arrest of 21-year-old Jasmine D. Forrest on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of cannabis.

Agents took a 3-month-old infant into protective custody and placed the child with a family member.

Forrest is currently being held in the Adams County Jail.
