Saverton man suffers serious injuries while doing levee maintenance

(WGEM) - A Saverton man suffered serious injuries while working on a levee Saturday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Oliver Spratt, 67, was working on a levee near Highway 168 and County Road 413 in Marion County, when he exchanged out equipment around 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

One of those vehicles, a John Deere tractor, rolled forward onto him.

Spratt was taken by Air Evac helicopter to Blessing Hospital.
