LOUISIANA, Mo. (WGEM) -

The Champ Clark Bridge in Louisiana, Missouri was reopened to traffic at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Officials say the Mississippi River receded enough to remove the berm set-up on U.S. 54 on the Illinois side and let traffic cross.

The bridge had been closed since April 20.
