It's yet another milestone for the Great River Honor Flight as the first flight of all Korean War veterans is set to take off.
31 Korean vets will head on a free trip to Washington DC to see their memorial on Thursday.
Sunday, they gathered together at Hannibal-LaGrange University to learn what to expect on their day.
The Korean War Memorial is expected to be the highlight, although many other sights - like the World War Two Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery - are also on the agenda.
These veterans say they couldn't be more excited to go.
You're invited to help welcome these veterans back from their trip, this Thursday at 10 PM at Hannibal LaGrange.
And while this is the first flight of all Korean War Veterans, the Honor Flight is currently accepting applications from veterans of both World War Two and Korea.
