Two Adams County men were arrested after a search warrant found drugs and drug paraphernalia in their home.
According to the Illinois State Police, the West Central Illinois Task Force and the Adams County Sheriffs Office conducted a search warrant at county road 1994 N. 2700th in rural Adams County Monday night. Martin Miller was arrested on for unlawful possession of meth precursor and unlawful possession of meth. David Snyder was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis. The two were taken into custody after authorities found meth, cannabis, items used to make meth, and drug paraphernalia in the home.
Martin is lodged in the Adams County Jail, while Snyder was issued a Notice to Appear on his charge, and was released.
Adams County records indicated that Miller was convicted in 1999 of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and received a sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Snyder has been convicted on four previous felony drug offenses, all of which resulted in sentences to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
The investigation is on going and additional arrests are anticipated.
