Knox County man pleads not guilty to murdering his neighbor

NOVELTY, Mo. (WGEM) -

A Knox County man accused of murdering his neighbor pleads not guilty.

Glenn Head, 59, faces a jury trial in November in Clark County where it was moved on a change of venue.

Head is charged with second degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 67-year-old Bill Bacon.

Head allegedly shot Bacon on Dec. 11 southwest of Novelty. The two had reportedly been in a long running dispute over land.

Court documents state Head admitted to authorities he shot Bacon following an altercation.
