(WGEM) -- With college signings coming fast and furious over the course of spring, most of the top seniors in our area have made their choices on where they'll continue their careers at the next level.

Now, you can add West Hancock all-state swingman Paxton Harmon to that list.

As WGEM Sports first reported Sunday via Twitter, Harmon has given a verbal commitment to head coach Brad Hoyt and the John Wood Trail Blazers, in what could be one of his most impactful signings to date.

Harmon averaged nearly 21 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game over the course of his senior year, including a 43 point performance in his final game against Riverton in the class 2A sectional championship.

He is schedule to officially sign later this week.
