Spring Take All Clean Up event in Macomb

If you live in Macomb, and are ready to do some spring cleaning, your chance has arrived.

Starting Monday, May 13th, and running through Thursday, May 16th, the Spring Take All Clean Up Event will collect items that you place on your curb beginning at 6 AM on your normal collection day. Items should be placed at the curb for collection no earlier than 48 hours before your regular service day. Materials are asked to be placed in containers or bundles weighing less than fifty pounds. Bulk items, such as furniture, should be placed as near to the curb as possible.

Items that are not accepted in the clean up include:

  • Yard waste
  • Liquid waste
  • Paint
  • Motor Oil
  • Thinner
  • Hazardous wastes
  • Gasoline
  • Propane
  • Chemical waste
  • Insecticides/pesticides
  • Tires, batteries, or large auto parts
  • Construction and demolition debris
  • Concrete preparation
