It certainly felt like summer outside, and a true summer staple - the Quincy pools - will be opening in about a week and a half!
The pools will be filled with water starting Wednesday!
Director of Program Services Mike Bruns says some changes are coming this season - there will be a new "Aqua-climb" piece of equipment, and at both pools the season pass rate is changing.
For a family up to five members, the fee is now one hundred fifty dollars, and a single pool pass for the summer is now forty dollars.
Bruns says this year, they're hoping for a few less extreme heat days like we had last year. "So we're doing some things to help boost attendance, and if we just had normal 85 to 90 degree temperatures all summer long with some rain here and there, that would be perfect pool weather," he said.
The pools will open Saturday, May 25th.
