Kelly's Bike Show promotes motorcycle safety

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Bikers are doing all they can to raise awareness of motorcycle safety.  Sunday, about two dozen motorcycles came to show off their wheels at the Kelly's Bike Show.  Cups were outside each motorcycle for donations which go towards charitable organizations.  Organizer Bobby Barnes said this show is a way to get rid of the negative stereotype that is associated with bikers.

"But as far as what we're trying to do is show people the good side of it.  You know trying to protect people's rights as far as motorcycling. As far as the safety part of it," he said.

Barnes said the money raised in the people's choice section will go towards the Make a Wish Foundation.
