Hannibal LaGrange University gets hit hard by storm damage

The Hannibal LaGrange University campus got hit hard by Monday night's storm.

School officials say at least eight buildings were damaged by high winds, including part of a roof that was blown off of the science building.

Some staff members were at the school when storms hit, but fortunately no one was hurt.

School officials say they're now in the process of assessing all the damage.

"About half of our buildings were impacted at least eight of them had some damage as a result of the storm, so we're still trying to assess all that. Some broken windows, a lot of water damage, roof damage, light poles things of that nature," HLGU President Anthony Allen.

Classes weren't in session this week.
