Hannibal High School graduates 181 students despite storm damage

Despite a rough week in Hannibal, many families had reason to celebrate Thursday night.

Hannibal High School held graduation for 181 seniors at Porter Stadium.

The bleachers were filled with friends and family as the class of 2013 made its way into the stadium.

Principal Ryan Sharkey says he's thankful everything was able to go as planned.

"There will be a huge sigh of relief when all those graduates walk off the field but also mixed emotions on both as it's their last day, they've been a great class and it's also my last graduation," said Sharkey.

Sharkey plans to retire in June.

This year's class was awarded a combined 248 thousand dollars in college scholarships.
