It's a summertime fruit that's definitely in season right now - strawberries!
and at one local event in Quincy, they were a main attraction.
Melrose church held their 139th annual Strawberry Festival.
It wasn't just a berry feast - they also served a lunch of burgers and hot dogs, but there were plenty of sweet treats to go around.
Co-chairman Steve Bergman said its a tradition that keeps on going.
"That is quite the cool feeling, because as we know most events don't go on forever and ever and ever. Especially in the same form, but this one has stood the test of time."
Boy scout troop 99 helped out at the event by refilling drinks and serving as bus boys.
