(WGEM) - Adams and Pike Counties have now been added to the federal disaster declaration for last month's flooding.
That means cities, counties and nonprofit organizations can be reimbursed up to 75 percent for costs like repairing roads, bridges and parks.
Adams County Emergency Management Director John Simon says damage estimates were around $1.7 million.
Assistance for homeowners and renters is available in Brown, McDonough, Pike and Schuyler Counties.
Lee County, Iowa was also included in a disaster proclamation on Friday.
Grants of up to $5,000 are available for home or car repairs, replacement of clothing or food, and temporary housing.
