Every effort will be made to save a building in downtown Hannibal severely damaged in last month's wind storm. Building owner Carol Estes-Cook said no one has been allowed inside the building since the storm three weeks ago. She said the 3rd floor will be demolished. Right now, building inspectors have classified the building as structurally unbalanced. Cook said her goal is to have the building up and running again in a year. One of the two businesses in the building, Groomingdales has reopened at the corner of North Third and Bird Street.
