Macomb man arrested for Memorial Day vehicle break-ins
MACOMB, Ill. (WGEM) -
A Macomb man was arrested in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in the Georgetown area during Memorial Day weekend.
The McDonough County Sheriff's Office says Dustin R. Petty, 42, of Macomb was charted with four counts of criminal trespass to a vehicle. Sheriff Rick VanBrooker says Petty was arrested after detectives recovered items at Petty's residence that were taken from the victims vehicles.
Petty posted bond and will have a July court appearance.
