Thirty-two veterans taking part in Thursday's Great River Honor Flight

(WGEM) - Thirty-two veterans are in route to Washington, D.C. in the 19th mission of the Great River Honor Flight.

The veterans will left Quincy at 2 a.m. for St. Louis, where they will fly to Baltimore and then travel to Washington, D.C., to see their memorials.

You're invited to always popular homecoming ceremony, scheduled to take place at John Wood Community College in Quincy around 10:30 p.m.

Following times are Central

1:00 am        Check-in for participants of Honor Flight – John Wood - Quincy

1:30 am        Guardian Briefing at John Wood

1:45 am        Bus Loading

2:00 am        Depart Quincy

4:00 am        Arrive St. Louis Airport                                           

6:00 am        Southwest Airlines Flight 3873 departs STL

Following times are Eastern

8:55 am        Flight arrives at BWI (Baltimore)

9:45 am        Board bus for trip to Washington and Korean War Memorial

10:30 am      Arrive at Korean Memorial, Lincoln, Vietnam Memorials. 

12:00 pm      Depart Korean Memorial for WWII Memorial. 

12:15 pm      Arrive at World War II Memorial 

1:15 pm        Take tour of Washington DC/End up at Air Force Memorial

2:00 pm        Arrive at Air Force Memorial

2:30 pm        Depart for Iwo Jima Memorial

2:45 pm        Arrive at Iwo Jima Memorial

3:05 pm        Depart for Arlington National Cemetery

3:15 pm        Arrive at Arlington National Cemetery 

4:30 pm        Depart Arlington for Reagan National.

4:45 pm        Arrive at Reagan National Airport.  Meal at Airport.

6:55 pm        Southwest Airlines Flight 560 departs Reagan National (DC) 

Following times are Central

8:00 pm        Flight arrives at STL airport/ Board bus for Quincy

10:30 pm      Approximate time of arrival at John Wood Community College in Quincy - Upon our departure from St. Louis, we will have a better feel for what time we will be arriving in Quincy for those picking vets and guardians up.
