If you're going to the 100th anniversary of the Keokuk/Hamilton dam celebration in Keokuk, you can also take a tour of the historic train depot while you're there.
Renovations have been ongoing for the last two years.
The Keokuk Union Depot Commission has raised more than $80,000 through grants and donations to restore the station.
Commission president Debra Marion says they've already started renting out the space and they hope the community can enjoy it.
"It can be rented and used as a community space. I think the depot commission and foundation members feel really strongly about having it as a community building," said Marion.
If you'd like to tour the depot, it will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
