Big Dam Film Festival's Family Movie at Quincy Public Library

Libraries are meant to be a quiet place to read, but today it was filled with excitement.

The Quincy Public Library held a family movie as a part of the Big Dam Film Festival. They played "An American Tail" a children's classic going along with their summer reading theme, have book will travel. Librarian Katie Kraushaar says they were glad to be a part of the festival.

"We were just thrilled that they thought of asking us and making this space available for families to come in and just enjoy the day."

Krausher says she hopes they can collaborate with the film festival again next year.
