Hannibal man pleads guilty in Chelsea armed robbery case

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

The Hannibal man who allegedly held up the Chelsea Adult Store in Quincy last March plead guilty to aggravated robbery, according to court documents.

The plea for Adam Morrall, 20, was entered during a hearing at the Adams County Courthouse Monday afternoon. Morrall was also originally charged with armed robbery, but that charges was dropped as part of the plea agreement.

A sentencing hearing has been set for Sept. 6 where Morrall will face up to 10 years in prison.

James Meredith, 19, of Ewing, was also charged in connection with the robbery but is currently being held in a Missouri jail. Meredith is facing felony charges in Worth County.
