Bardolph man arrested for selling Vicodin paid for with public aid

MCDONOUGH COUNTY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A McDonough County man is arrested for selling a prescription painkiller that was paid for with public aid.

McDonough County Sheriff's Office says Robert L. Bigsby, 48, of Bardolph, Illinois is charged with delivery of a controlled substance.

Sheriff VanBrooker says a combined drug unit made up of deputies and officers from the McDonough County Sheriff's Office, Macomb Police Department, Colchester Police Department, Blandinsville Police Department, and Bushnell Police Department after investigating found Bigsby was selling the prescription pain medication Vicodin in McDonough County to make money.  And he was receiving public aid for the pain killer.

Bigsby is currently in the McDonough County Jail.
