The city of Palmyra will be celebrating both the 4th of July and Family Day on Saturday at its Flower City Festival.
Due to scheduling conflicts with the company displaying the fireworks, the city postponed its celebration for two days.
The community event features food, craft and flea market, a veterans ceremony, family triathlon and a hula hoop contest. Coordinator Mach Schaible says organizers are also excited about something this year; a mechanical bull.
"And we're really excited about having them here and it's for all ages. They can adjust the ride to any age and anybody's ability."
The festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. at Flower City Park with a pet show. The night will end with the fireworks display, which will start after dusk.
