BUSHNELL, Ill. (WGEM) -

It appears the Cornerstone Music Festival is gone for good, as the farmland near Bushnell that used to house the event has been sold for nearly $2 million.

According to the Fulton and McDonough County Assessor's Offices, nearly 600 acres of property owned by Jesus People USA was sold to Laverdiere Construction of Macomb.

The Cornerstone Music Festival used to draw in 25,000 Christian music fans during peak years.

The 29th and final festival was held last year.
