Quincy man arrested for drinking and driving

QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

A Quincy man has been arrested for drinking and driving.

According to Quincy Police, 21 year old Russell Board was driving east on Cherry street, when he skidded through a stop sign at a T-intersection on 24th street.

His car then drove off the pavement, hitting a street sign, and then continuing on to a drive way - where he hit a parked truck.The truck was then pushed into another parked car.

Board was taken first to Blessing Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries, but was then arrested for driving under the influence, among other charges.
