If you see a sign of a crocodile in your neighbor's yard in Quincy, they're helping raise money for scholarships to be awarded by the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
The Salvation Army kicked off its "You've Been Kroc'd" campaign Monday. Starting with volunteer donors, a flock of crocodile signs of RJ Kroc will be placed in yards in the area.
To have the sign removed from the yard, a $10 donation is requested. Each donor has the chance to choose the next person to be "Kroc'd", having the sign moved to their yard.
Anyone who gets "Kroc'd" and does not wish to participate can simply have the signs removed by calling the contact number.
Those wishing to volunteer to be "Kroc'd" can call Alisa Elkins at 217-231-5633.
