QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -

Pavement resurfacing will slow traffic on Wismann Lane until the end of the month.

Starting Tuesday, July 9th, The Adams County Highway Department will begin construction, weather permitting on Wismann Lane from 24th Street to 30th Street.

The project consists of pavement patching, surface milling and repaving the roadway.

There will be lane closures and flaggers in the area so you are asked to use caution.

Work on this project is expected to be done by July 30th.
